Summary
Do you have a passion for Agriculture and seek to work for the leading independent provider of RTK corrections? If you’re a proven sales professional with the ability to build relationships on farm and in dealerships, we’re keen to talk to you.
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer, well-versed in growing and managing sales accounts and customer relationships within the Agricultural industry. We’re keen to speak to professionals from any previous sales position with an interest in Ag-tech. Whether you are directly involved in precision farming currently, or from a machinery or technical background, you will deliver the full service in your territory, from dealer development right through to direct sales and service/support. All backed up by our team of specialist engineers. Full and in-depth product training will be supplied as well as weekly sales updates with the team.
Although you will be working remotely covering your territory, there will be frequent team contact via phone/online, and in person meetings in the Cambridge office as and when desired or required.
Job Purpose
To take a proactive sales role in developing and delivering the RTKFnet sales strategy to grow the client base and revenue streams. In addition, to provide technical support to new and existing customers.
What will you be accountable for?
- Establishing market size and identifying profitable sales opportunities.
- Building effective and productive relationships with influencers and decision makers.
- Developing mutually beneficial business relationships with Dealer partners.
- Maintaining records via CRM system.
- Obtaining, understanding, and applying technical knowledge to provide a first line customer support.
- Working as part of the team to deliver network development where required, such as supporting base station installations, audits, and upgrades.
- Promoting the RTKFnet brand through effective advertising, social media channels, and attendance at Trade Shows and Exhibitions.
- Achievement of annual sales budgets, revenue streams, and maximising customer retention.
